| Q: | Can I use Spatter Mist as a rust preventer? |
| A: | Spatter Mist works as a rust preventer under certain conditions. Spatter Mist is a water based product, but it contains an ingredient that does offer rust protection in relatively dry conditions for a day or two. Example: A machined part, sprayed lightly with Spatter Mist XP. The water will evaporate quickly leaving a protecting film that will keep normal humidity from effecting the oxide, mill scale, free surface.
